Selling my, much loved, 1962 Resorter 17, RS62150. Originally purchased from Channel Marine on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH it has spent its entire life on the lake and I am the third owner.
Authenticated by the Century Boat Club with a certificate and hull card.
Last run in 2004 and has been stored under cover and dry ever since.
Fully winterized and the motor currently turns over freely.
Very desirable 327 Gray Marine originally from the factory as a 225 HP, but converted to the safer and more reliable 238 HP setup.
The velvet drive was rebuilt around 2003 and has no problems.
Fuel is bad and the tank will need to be flushed and evaluated.
Bottom is original and is probably in need of replacement.
Transom and 5 hull side planks were replaced and there are a few other areas that will need attention.
All gauges worked as they should.
Hardware is complete, original and in good condition and includes the factory stern ladder option.
The interior is a mix of original and older replacement.
Full custom mooring cover from A and A Marine used only one season and in like-new condition.
The trailer is a Windsor bunk style that has been custom fitted to the boat.
The axle has electric brakes that never were connected.
$6,000
The boat is fast, responsive, fun and could easily be a show winner with a little work. I would like to see it go to someone who will take proper care of it and appreciate it the way I did.
